AboutPrime + Operations

The name describes the method

Two words joined together. Both halves say something specific about how the company works.

01The name

Prime, and Ops

Prime primus
From the Latin primus: first, foremost, of the highest rank. Prime grade means a person has passed every check and already done the job in a live role.
Ops operations
Short for operations: structured, repeatable, precise execution. The same process for every candidate.

Together, prime operations: a system that produces people who are found, checked, trained and tested before they reach you. Pronounced PRY-mops.

A defined standard

The mark

A hexagon with a P held inside it: structure, precision, and a standard that is protected rather than negotiable.

02What the name commits us to

Each half of the name is a rule we work to

Both halves describe something we have to keep doing for the name to stay true.

Prime First and finest

The standard
The best available, tested rather than assumed. A bar, not a compliment.
The rule it sets
Only people who clear the bar move on, whatever the pressure to fill a role.
What it costs us
A smaller list. Three people who can do the job, not thirty who might.

Ops Operations

The standard
Structured, repeatable execution: a logistics discipline, not a series of judgement calls.
The rule it sets
The same process for every candidate, in the same order, against the same brief.
What it costs us
No quiet exceptions. A skipped step is not a placement, and we do not call it one.

03Positioning

What Primops is, and what it isn't

The distinction that matters is where the checking happens. With an agency, on your side. Here, on ours.

NoNot this

  • A staffing agency that forwards unchecked candidates
  • A training course with no accountability for the outcome
  • A middleman passing CVs between two parties
  • A long list of maybes

YesThis

  • An operating system that produces checked, trained people
  • A process with a defined pass mark at every stage
  • The employer of record during the trial period
  • A short list of people who have already done the job

04Principles

Six principles the work runs on

Operating rules, not values on a wall.

01

Prime grade

A high bar. Only people who meet it move forward to a placement.

02

Operational

Run like an operation: focused, repeatable, reliable.

03

Structured

Systems and standards create consistency at scale.

04

Accountable

We own the outcome and stand behind every placement.

05

Hands on

We employ and manage people ourselves rather than subcontracting the work.

06

Disciplined

A narrow focus on the standard, executed the same way every time.

05Why it is built this way

Hiring overseas removes the informal checks

Hire locally and a lot of assessment happens by itself. You meet people. Someone you know knows them. You see the first week.

Overseas, that is gone, and teams lean harder on the CV and the interview. Primops replaces the informal checks with explicit ones: a written standard, five checks, structured training and a trial in the live role. At distance, that is the only thing that works.

Across time zones

The standard, in short

  • One written brief per role, agreed before we start
  • Five checks, applied identically to every candidate
  • Training assessed on results, not attendance
  • A trial period in the live role, with Primops as employer
  • A pass mark that does not move because a deadline is close
